Abby Stevens-Roberts

bby has always had a love for art, probably even before she was able to hold a pencil. At 5 years old she was "wowing" her parents and family with her very well-drawn, anatomically correct male horses. She grew up in southern ME where she immersed herself with art at the Thornton Academy's excellent art program. It was only natural she would end up attending art school and decided to go to the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Abby graduated with a BFA in illustration in 2020. Having graduated from college during the pandemic, the wind was taken out of her artistic sails and didn't produce any art for a couple of years. Until she was fortunate enough to be hired as a receptionist at the shop and later made an apprentice under Steve. "This job just feels right" you will find her saying. She is able to make art, have a great time doing it and is able to meet some amazing people in the process. In her free time you will find Abby spending time with her what she likes to call "zoo" of two dogs and two cats, hanging out with her boyfriend, cooking, drawing, and watching TV. Abby doesn't like to fit into a specific style because she wants to dabble in everything but she loves to work in black and gray.
