I've been getting tattoos from Steve for a few years now and was in last month to get a thigh piece that I'm absolutely in love with. Dark Harbor has a great welcoming atmosphere with artists who truly love what they do. I completely trust Steve's ability to translate detail perfectly and bring his artistry to every piece. You're not going to find a better shop!

Got 2 smaller tattoos by Steve this evening, not only did him & Josh stay late to fit my three friends and I in, but they had us laughing the entire time!

Amazing staff! Totally accommodating considering we were walk ins.They couldn't take us right away but ensured they would give us a call when they had the time! Considering we didn't put down a deposit, it was very impressive that they followed through with their word and were able to squeeze us in. Josh was great and Nick was awesome! 10/10 recommend!!

A few of my friends and I walked in to see if we could get an appointment. We were told to come back around 5-5:30 as the tattoo artist was busy for the next few hours. We came back and had the best time with Josh. He had us laughing and feeling comfortable. We had the best time.

Everyone here is so friendly. Went in as a walk in. Mike was my tattoo artist and I could not have asked for a better artist he was absolutely great!. Thank you so much, I'll be going here again when I'm back in town.

All the artists are great, talented very sweet and welcoming. The shop is clean and well maintained. My artist is Joshua Ryan he is by far the most progressively talented artist I have seen yet! He grows daily, I reccomend them 10/10 times! Keep up the good work!

I got tattooed by Tori today, and it was by far the best experience I had getting a tattoo! She took the time to make sure I got what I wanted, and the work she did was impeccable!

Today I went to Dark Harbor and had my septum pierced. I couldn't have had a better experience! Nick was a calm presence, which was helpful since I was quite anxious. He carefully explained everything as he was doing it, which was really helpful. I can't recommend them enough!

I recently visited Dark Harbor for a walk-in nose piercing with Nick. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish! Nick was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all my questions and walked me through every step of the process. I highly recommend him to anyone looking!

I've had many piercings before but nick was the best piercer I've had by far. I got my septum done and he was extremely friendly and comforting. I'd recommend him to anyone!

Just had my 6th Tattoo done by Big Mike Gorman and he didn't disappoint. I'm a big fan of Disney Characters and Mike always captures the essence of the character. It's such a chill and awesome atmosphere at Dark Harbor. One bonus is that Mike is extremely well read and we have awesome conversations. Please know that this is how these amazing artists pay their bills. They have supplies and expenses like everyone, so please show your appreciation and tip. Customer For Life!

I visited Dark Harbor with a friend, and we highly recommend getting your next piercing here! Nick did my septum and my friend's ear piercings, and he was super nice and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and did an amazing job with the placement of our new jewelry, taking his time to figure out what would work best with our particular ear/nose anatomies. We were in and out of there in no time and the piercing itself was so much less painful than I had anticipated, in part thanks to Nick's expert technique. I will definitely go back for my next piercing!

Tony was great! He got both my friend and I in as walk-ins for matching ankle tattoos. Tony was very professional, fun, and informative, and the shop is clean, colorful, and has a great gallery. As some out-of-towners, Dark Harbor is definitely a good place to stop at if you're wanting to add a tattoo while in the Portland area.

As a mature woman with no experience with body art or tattooing, I had reservations about whether or not I should enhance my brows. I am fair skinned with fair hair and my brows were quickly disappearing. Stephanie guided me through every step and what to expect in the days ahead. When she presented me with a mirror and the final result, I was blown away. She took such great care with the color and shape. My new brows are a game changer for me and my self esteem! I am thankful I found Stephanie and I would encourage any mature woman with disappearing brows to take the plunge with Stephanie. She is truly amazing.
