KC Pyle

KC is a lifelong multi-medium artist. From visual art to music to woodworking and historically-informed luthiery, he's always most fulfilled when working creatively. Shortly after graduating with a bachelor's degree in music composition, KC transitioned from music to visual art; quickly finding an aprenticeship after relocating from his lifelong home in Winston-Salem, NC to Columbus, GA.
With a focus on bold, textured blackwork tattooing, KC is heavily inspired by medieval illumintions and traditional relief printing, as well as fantasy books and media. He specializes in woodcut and high-contrast designs.

Beyond tattooing, KC is an avid collector of musical instruments, woodworking hand tools, vintage mass market fantasy books, hockey jerseys (go Bruins), tobacco pipes, bones, and other various oddities. He is seldom found without a coffee on hand.
