FAQ

Do I need an appointment?

All Piercing are currently walk in only, first come first serve on a daily basis Wednesday through Sunday!

Can I go swimming with a new piercing?

When getting a new piercing you want to avoid swimming in any body of water and/or pools for about 4-6 weeks. Showers are perfectly fine though! Just avoid submerging the area.

What can I expect from a new piercing?

Initially you can expect some bleeding, & swelling around the area of the piercing, as well as tenderness, or bruising may occur.
During the healing process it is normal to see some discoloration, itching, and secretion of a whitish-yellow fluid that will form some crust around the piercing. The tissue may also tighten around the jewelry while it heals.
Sometimes a piercing may seem like it is healed before the healing process is complete, that is because this type of wound heals from the outside to the inside. Though it may seem fine on the outside, the inside of the wound may still be fragile. Continue to keep cleaning your piercing through the healing process.

Can I bring my own jewelry?

For new piercings we do not accept jewelry that you bring with you. Once your piercing is fully healed you may bring in your own jewelry to have switched out for!

How Long will the piercing process take?

The whole process with paperwork as well as picking out jewelry and getting everything set up fo pierce should take between 20-30 mins

What do I do about an MRI or surgery if I need to remove jewelry?

We have glass retainers that you can wear as a placeholder in your piercing to prevent it from shrinking and/or closing up. We suggest that if you have a piercing that is still healing to have a professional piercer switch the jewelry out for you before and after your MRI/surgery.

If I'm under 18 will my parent have to be present?

Yes, and we will need the parent to have ID as well as as a birth certificate or ID for the minor wanting a piercing.
